Jordan Suleiman, 27 • Animation Director
In the quintessential underdog story, Jordan Suleiman has found his happily ever after. Having come a very long way from buckteeth braces and a fishbowl haircut with nonexistent physical capabilities, he has successfully made his way to the other side. And the greenery is sweet, if not, extremely promising.
Upon learning to hold a pencil, he began a portfolio of distinct artistry and has never looked back. He has not only found a niche, he seems to have mastered it - right down to the extent of his work having internationally spawned copies. You see, Jordan is one of the very few able to think ahead of his time with the ability to see beyond the apparent. “There are so many ideas, a plethora of creative juice and energy. The trick is within matching the initial idea at its highest potency with the finished product. That’s where success resides,” he exerts.
Riding a wave of success has not lowered his ambitions either. “We have been structured to be passive; to be fed of knowledge. Schools teach academic theory and practice, but they barely encourage fundamental creative thought. I hope to take Malaysia to another wavelength. I want us to think, to question, to debate. I plan to stir,” he muses with that distinct glint in his eyes. He will go far, and he knows it as much as he thirsts for it.
